Thomas Muhmenthaler is Managing Partner, co-owner and founder of Viavanta. He has over 25 years of experience in executive search, focussing on the retail and consumer goods industry as well as management and board positions in various industries. Together with Thomas Suter, he invented and established the Multiple Search Initiative, which underlines Viavanta's unique sales position as a trendsetter in leading large recruitment campaigns in Switzerland.
Before founding Viavanta in 2016, he led a well-known Swiss executive search firm and worked in leading positions in international sports, FMCG and retail companies.
As a member of the Institute Council of Kestria, an alliance of boutique executive search firms in more than 40 countries with more than 600 consultants, he contributes to the successful and sustainable positioning of the alliance. He is also a member of the global ‘Consumer & Retail’ practice group and has been a trusted insider to his business partners for many years.
Thomas is married, father of two daughters and has a Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing. He has moved the centre of his life to Davos and can be found practising various sports in the mountains.
