Alexander holds a Master's degree in law from the University of Graz. He then joined the Austrian Food Industries Association, where he was secretary for social policy and labour law matters. In 1998 he changed to Magna, a major automotive supplier and acted as HR Director for Europe and Asia. After 10 years with Magna, Alexander was headhunted and accepted an assignment as VP HR for a global business in the mining equipment industry. As of April 2014, he joined aristid Personalberatung / Kestria Austria and took over – together with his companion Franz Schuster - the company in 2020, acting now as Managing Partner.
Alexander stands for pragmatic solutions, a hands-on approach and always tries to see the big picture. His client base consists of, but is not limited to major and medium-sized companies in production (steel and metal, automotive, food, pharma, electronics, mining), plant engineering and construction (intralogistics, biopharma, pulp & paper) and B2B Sales.
